This transitional-designed exterior hides a contemporary gem behind its walls. The owners were living abroad during the construction process, and hired a Washington-based interior design firm to help them with all the selections involved with their new home. The crisp white walls are the perfect background for the bold and bright color accents throughout the house. Kenwood Park is a popular neighborhood in Bethesda that is bounded on the south by Kenwood Country Club, and is in the well-respected Burning Tree/Pyle/Whitman school district. People who live there like the amenities of being close to both DC and downtown Bethesda, but without all the hustle and bustle. And a fun fact about Kenwood Park – both Phil and Mimi (owners of SSB) lived there on the same street just a few blocks apart. And before that they lived in townhouses directly across the street from one another – they were destined to be partners!
