Our client had a very traditional home in mind, and wanted everything to be finely detailed and elegant. From the dark wood floors and moldings, to the wrought iron stair rails, the home has an Old World feeling. The office in particular has magnificent built-ins that were hand-crafted and installed. The perfect place for a home office! The Master Bedroom coffered ceiling adds a very warm and intimate feeling to the room. And the applied wood beams in the Breakfast Room and Family Room also make the home feel more comfortable. The screened porch with fireplace, built-in grill and kitchenette was an important feature for our client who planned to do outdoor entertaining around the pool. An exacting client with a discerning eye for tasteful elegance made this home a wonderful collaborative project.
Bradley Farms | Potomac, Maryland
The Bradley Farms subdivision is just one of the many Potomac neighborhoods filled with stately homes on expansive lush lots. Bounded by River Road, Congressional Country Club and Persimmon Tree Road, this neighborhood is one of the most prestigious and traditional of the area. Right before World War I, this area was briefly very close to trolley service that ran along what would become Bradley Boulevard, leading to scenic Great Falls. Today, it is a short drive or long walk to Potomac Village, and is close to the beltway and DC. Right off Bradley you can easily access creek-side hikes along wooded trails.
