Phil Leibovitz

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Phil has more than thirty years of experience in the residential home and development business. He has developed over 1,500 lots and built over 1,000 homes. He has been a partner in Sandy Spring Builders since 1998, and is responsible for their business development, land acquisition, and sales.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mimi has been a partner in Sandy Spring Builders since 1998 and is responsible for the company’s business and administrative management. Prior to becoming a partner in Sandy Spring, she was a partner in Kenwood Homes and Springbrook Builders from 1990 to 1998, building over 500 homes in Maryland and Virginia.

Brian has been a partner in Sandy Spring Builders since 2018 and works to source land deals and custom home clients. Prior to joining SSB, he was building spec custom homes in Northern Virginia. He is a co-owner at Tower Companies, and is a LEED accredited professional.

Tyler Abrams

VICE PRESIDENT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Tyler brings a unique skill set and design eye to the Sandy Spring Builders team. He holds his Bachelors of Science degree in Architecture and a Masters in Real Estate Development. Tyler’s focus is to be a primary point-of-contact to clients, and act as their liaison to the rest of the SSB team.

Mitchell has over 20 years of construction and real estate development experience, having led a wide range of projects from ground-up commercial builds to luxury custom homes. He oversees the full project lifecycle — from pre-construction through delivery — ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship.
